He was born on November 4, 1998, in Madrid, Spain, but grew up in Morocco. Hakimi began his youth career at local club CD Colonia Ofigevi before joining Real Madrid’s academy in 2006. He was then loaned to Borussia Dortmund for two seasons, where he played a pivotal role in the team’s attack and defence.

In July 2021, Achraf Hakimi joined PSG on a five-year contract for a reported fee of €60 million. Since then, he has been a regular starter for the club and has contributed to their successes in both domestic and European competitions. Hakimi is known for his pace, dribbling ability, and crossing accuracy, which make him a threat in the attacking third of the field.
